For sale by owner 1966 Chevrolet Viking 60 COE

A real survivor, this is a very cool piece of Chevy history and a fun truck to drive. My son and I recently ventured out for a hundred mile jaunt in it. It also gets used here close to home to haul rock and other stuff. Don’t get me wrong, it will need some attention if you plan to continue driving it a lot. First off the brakes are minimal at best but it is geared low enough to get it stopped, front tires need replaced, the wood in the dump bed needs replaced and it has three cracked windows – driver side windshield and both roll down windows – however I do have a good driver door roll down window. I don’t know if engine is original but it is a small block Chevy so it should be the optional 327 flavor. Transmission works good and shifts as it should and it has the two speed rear end. It has dual stage twin cylinders to raise the bed and as can be seen it works well. Body is in great shape and it has been repainted at some point. There is a little bit of rust on the driver’s side fender. If you are a serious buyer, I do have additional pictures.
