2009 Freightliner Columbia single axle sleeper with low 653K miles

It has a 14L Detriot 60 series engine rated at 515hp (arguably one of the best motors made) with Eaton split 10 transmission. Has two 120 gallon tanks. Just did a 1200 mile trip out here to colorado with no issues. It’s a west coast local truck so no rust issues either… chassis is very clean with none of the issues that come from buying an east coast rusted out truck.

It was fleet maintained by same fleet manager for last ten years and was well cared for. It has been a reliable truck with no major engine work and was one of the fleets most reliable trucks. Due to new California emission laws it no longer able to be used in California (all trucks used in California need 2011 or newer engines). If it wasn’t for the California emissions laws it wouldn’t be up for sale. Tires are good and I wouldn’t hesitate to take it cross country. It has normal wear and tear (has paint flaws and interior wear/tear typical for miles).

The engine runs great. Noted flaws are some minor plastic interior pieces broken (one interior interior light plastic bezel and a small plastic bezel above driver), it has a small leak ac Freon leak but works when charged. Engine code 128 (oil temp) and 211 (throttle pedal sensor) come up occasionally. It has been like that for years and no issues. Ran it with a computer and everything is within spec, oil never gets hot, most likely a bad or grounding sensor.

The truck is good to go and ready to be put to work. I wouldn’t hesitate to drive this truck anywhere.
